So, how about that COVID-19 completely ruining everything?

Like a lot of people out there, we were sad (but understanding) when the government ordered a shutdown of all food outlets except for takeaway & delivery services.

Our socials were flooded with BRB posts from not only our favourite restaurants and cafes but also the ones that have been on our dining wish list.

It made us think. How are these guys going to adapt? Are some of these places going to start offering take away options? Delivery?

Will they still be around when this is all over?

Takeitaway is a platform and directory dedicated to showcasing the cool, new and innovative ways our food and beverage establishments are adapting during the COVID-19 shutdown.

We wanted to do our bit to ensure that when the dust settles, our local restaurants, bars, cafes and fine dining establishments are still standing and we will have somewhere to go and celebrate together.

And, who are we? We are the tragics that just ate through all our quarantine snacks and now have a lot of time on our hands. Help us get back to our regular eating schedule!
